For your viewing pleasure is this killer 5"x14" Ludwig nickel over brass, two piece shell, "All-Metal" style, "All Round" model. It features 8 lugs, & the Ludwig Pat Pending strainer, which dates this drum in the 1922-1925 range. It is in great shape, & hard to believe it is 90 something years old. The heads, wires, tension rods & clips have been replaced, but everything else is original. There is some light, typical handling wear including a small ding here & there, but this drum looks great & has been well cared for. The original Pat pending strainer operates perfectly, & displays some oxidation. The fully functional vintage tone control works perfectly, but may not be original to the drum. This is the exact same shell & construction as the black beauty, & would be the ultimate addition for any recording studio, stage or collection. Enjoy!
