For your extreme viewing pleasure is this delightfully rare and beautiful 1935 Ludwig Standard 10 lug snare drum in gorgeous and scarcely seen Lavender Pearl. This drum is extremely clean with virtually unplayed top and bottom Ludwig calf skin and slunk heads, and original rods, clips, wires, strainer, hoops, and muffler. The edges are true and original and there are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. The shell has an original date stamp of 3508 (August 1935), which would make this among the last of the Lavender Pearl snare drums made by Ludwig since this finish was only produced from 1928-1935. The Lavender wrap is in excellent condition with no splits or scratches, and the seam is flat and tight. The original strainer operates properly, as does the muffler. This rare drum would easily be right at home amongst the finest of stages, studios, or collections. Enjoy!
