For your kind consideration is this excellent 1964 Ludwig 6.5x14 Pioneer snare drum, which sports a beautiful Keystone badge with serial # 104XXX. This drum is in overall excellent condition with no extra holes or modifications of any kind, and has been very well cared for. Aside from the heads and modern Ludwig wires, it's all original down to the brass hoops. It is worth noting that many of these mahogany finished drums have checking/crazing to the finish from aging, which this drum does not have. The original P-83 strainer looks great and operates smoothly. The nickel hardware and brass hoops are beautiful. The edges are original and true. Most importantly, this drum tunes up like a dream and is a blast to play. Enjoy!
