As one might expect, these drums tune up wonderfully and sound sublime. It sports a beautiful Black Diamond Pearl finish and displays beautifully with the classic Gretsch stop sign badge.    \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe bass drum of this kit is unique in that it was converted and cut down to 12x16 from originally a 16x16 floor tom. This was professionally done by Jim Moritz at Chicago Drum and Restoration. The holes for the floor tom leg brackets were carefully filled in, as well as a new bearing edge was cut. \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eAs it was originally a tom, there is no center post or rail mount. There is a cymbal L arm mount bracket.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs seen in the pics, there is a small interior split on the 12 from a bump that the drum sustained. As a result, the drum is slightly out of round. Despite this, the drum still sounds wonderful and fills up the room.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith all that in mind, the rest of the kit is in excellent condition. All of the tone controls (top and bottom) are original, and nice and fully functional. All of the bearing edges are true and original, except for the cut down side of the 16.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are no additional modifications to these drums of any kind. Most important of all, this classic stop sign badge kit tunes up with the greatest of ease, and is pure sonic bliss to play.
