The seams are still flat on the 13\" and 16\", and the corner of the one lug facing those seams on the 13\" and 16\" has some oxidation where the lug meets the wrap. All other lugs and hardware is very clean. The seams on bass drum have slight eyebrow lifts at the top and bottom of seam in the area between the edge and where the lugs start. There are a few touch ups on the great looking bass hoops. None of this is anything to be concerned about, and as mentioned, this set is in unusually clean collector's condition. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSerial #s and all characteristics date this set to 1973-1974. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll of the heads are original Ludwig silver dots and in equally clean condition showing hardly any use, with one small repaired hole in the still very playable floor tom head. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe shells are in round and the bearing edges are true and original.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are no extra holes or modifications of any kind.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMost importantly, it tunes up with the greatest of ease and sounds like pure sonic bliss. If you've been on the hunt for an extra nice Mach 5 set in these sizes, you'd be VERY hard pressed to find a nicer example.
