In January 2002, Paiste released selected 2002 models as a limited Special Edition to mark the 30th anniversary of the series. These were faithful reproductions of the original early-1970s 2002s, made for 2002 only, and this one carries the old-style hand-stamped black ink logo just like the originals. It's in excellent condition and has the warm, full, and lively sound the 2002 line is famous for, with a clear, defined ping and a balanced wash that blends smoothly when you dig in. The bright, rich character cuts through the mix, making it a great choice for rock, funk, and just about any other setting. Why pay $470 for a normal series 2002 when you can have this beautiful special edition at a fantastic savings?
