For your kind consideration is this brand new 14" Meinl Byzance Dark Spectrum Hi-Hat cymbal pair. These unique hi-hats were designed with Rodney Holmes’s personal inspirations in mind. Hand hammered from B20 Bronze Alloy for a unique sound with a earthy, natural character and mid-dark timbre. They have a tight stick response and plenty of presence paired with a strong, solid chick sound. These weigh in at 1134 grams on top and 1532 grams on bottom. Enjoy!
ABOUT BYZANCE DARK
Hand-hammered and completely unlathed, Byzance Dark cymbals immediately hit the sweet spot with crashes that open up just enough, then get out of the way. The hi-hats and rides provide clarity, cut and volume, along with a prominent dark tone brought out by their unique surfaces. Made in Turkey from B20 bronze and hand-hammered into shape. The surfaces here are left unlathed creating the dark finish except for the Spectrum Hi-hats and Ride which are partially lathed in a spiral pattern.
