For your kind consideration is this vintage Slingerland Hollywood Ace snare drum in White Marine Pearl. It's in great condition, and all original aside from the heads and wires. Internal date stamp of NOV 62. The interior of this 3-ply shell is clean and the bearing edges look great. The seam on the wrap lays flat and has virtually no scratches. Original chrome over brass stick saver hoops are in great condition as are the lugs, just showing some light signs of age and a couple surface scratches. The original Rapid strainer operates smoothly. A cool and unique feature of this drum was that it was ordered from the factory without an internal tone control. There are no extra holes or modifications. Most importantly, it tunes up with the greatest of ease and sounds fantastic. Enjoy.
