For your viewing pleasure is this vintage ASBA Caroline Bass Drum Pedal from the 1970s. These iconic pedals were made in France starting in 1965 and used by players like Mitch Mitchell, Joe Porcaro, and many of artists of the era. They were renowned for their speed, precision, and comfort of play and adjustment. This one is in overall very good condition with aging on the die cast frame assembly. The strap has been replaced on this otherwise all original example, including the beater which has lots of life left. One of the things that makes these pedals unique is that usual adjustment are made by hand instead of having to reach for a drum key, including the beater attachment & angle spring tension, adjustable toe stop, hoop clamp attachment, and dual spurs. Pick up this awesome piece of drum history today to see what makes ASBA pedals so special. Enjoy!
