For your kind consideration is this vintage Ludwig 9x13 concert tom drum shell in Gold Silk. This is from the early 1980s when Ludwig used rivets in an attempt to prevent the wrap seams from shrinking. As you can see in the photos, that idea wasn't as successful as Ludwig hoped. It's a perfect candidate for a rewrap or the original wrap could potentially be glued down. The shell is in very good condition overall with a clean interior. It originally had Ludwig large classic lugs installed with a 1 11/16" hole spacing. The metal band was removed from the bottom leaving the corresponding holes. This originally had a clip mount installed. Extra holes were drilled where a diamond plate mount was added. This shell is a great option for your vintage Ludwig restoration project.
