For your viewing pleasure we have a great Ludwig Big Beat outfit in Walnut Cortex from the 1970s in very well cared for condition. The chrome is all in excellent condition. With the exception of the heads, this set is 100% original including all tension rods, washers, T's, and claws. There are no extra holes or modifications. These still have the original store decals on them from where they were originally purchased, "Quigley Music, Kansas City Missouri". The new owner could remove these if they'd like, but we like to keep decals like these intact to preserve the history. Inside the bottom of the bass drum, the granitone interior was touched up because the previous owner had stenciled their name in black there, you can see in one of the photos as it is a little darker shade of granitone there. The granitone interiors of these 3 ply shells are in great condition, and the bearing edges are true and original. The bass drum hoops are in great shape with a few touch ups. All three mufflers are present and fully functional. Most importantly, these drums tune up like an absolute champ and are pure sonic bliss to play. Enjoy!
