For your viewing pleasure is this excellent Ludwig Pioneer 5x14 snare drum in stunning Gold Sparkle. This 3-ply white interior drum has been well cared for and is a delight to play. Aside from the heads, it is completely original including tension rods, washers, and wires. It features a gorgeous pre-serial # keystone badge, original P-85 large Pioneer strainer (not to be confused with the P-85 strainer from the 1970s) and butt, baseball bat muffler (missing red felt pad), and beautiful bow-tie lugs. Although the tensioner on the throw off is slightly bent, it operates without issue. Chrome is in great condition. There are no extra holes or modifications. The chrome looks great on the original brass hoops. It displays wonderfully and would be equally at home among the finest of collections, studios, or stages. It tunes up like a champ and sounds great! Enjoy!
