For your viewing pleasure is this vintage Ludwig 5.5x14 Buddy Rich Model Super Classic snare drum in beautiful Gold Sparkle. The wrap looks great with no scratches, splitting or scuffs. The original P-87 Classic strainer is a nice specimen that operates smoothly. Original wires and heads, the wires are missing a couple of strands. The chrome over brass hoops are very nice with minimal wear. Internal date stamp of May 1 1959. There are no extra holes or modifications and the bearing edges are true and original. This drum tunes up easily and sounds incredible. It would be right at home amongst the finest of collections, studios, and stages. Enjoy!
