For your viewing pleasure is this beautiful example of an early 5x14 Ludwig Acrolite from 1965 with baseball bat muffler. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind, and it's in overall wonderful cosmetic condition. The keystone badge is nice and tight, serial # 224XXX. It still retains the original tension rods/washers, wires, and bottom (snare side) Weather Master head. Best of all, it is still wearing its original chrome over brass hoops! The shell and hardware are in extraordinarily great condition with very few signs of age. No serious drummer's or studio's snare drum arsenal is complete without a trusty vintage Acrolite, and this one sounds particularly great. This drum would easily and equally be at home amongst the finest of stages, studios, or collections. Enjoy!
