Shipping policy

Thank you for choosing Drugan’s Drums & Guitars. Our family owned business appreciates you choosing us for your gear purchases. We take great care in packing all of the items we ship to ensure that it arrives to you safely. Our shipping policy will provide you with the details of how your purchase will be handled. By ordering from us online or over the phone, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Order Processing

We process and ship orders Monday through Friday, except for holidays. Most orders ship within 24 hours and we do our best to ship orders the same day we receive them. Any order placed after 2:00 p.m. Central Time may ship the next business day. Some items, such as drum sets, require extra time to pack and may require additional processing time. While we strive to process and ship orders quickly, please be aware that unforeseen circumstances, such as carrier issues or weather conditions, may cause delays. We appreciate your understanding in these situations.

Shipping Carriers

We use UPS and USPS as our carriers and offer various services to fit your needs. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be calculated at checkout based on your destination and selected shipping method. We can ship with FedEx as well, but you will need to contact us for an exact shipping quote.

Tracking Confirmation

Once your order is packed and shipped you will receive an email with tracking information so you can monitor the status and delivery of your package. Please ensure you provide an accurate email address during checkout. If you ordered from an online marketplace such as Reverb or eBay, the marketplace will provide you with the tracking information via the email address registered to your account.

Shipping Insurance

All orders will be fully insured for the price of the item(s) in the package at no additional charge to you. In the event that you receive a damaged item from us, please contact us immediately. In order to process a damage claim, you will need to take photographs of the original packaging materials, any noticeable damage to the shipping box(es), and any damage to the item(s) themselves. Please retain all items and original packaging until the investigations or insurance claims are completed. Items returned before any investigation is completed will forfeit all possible damage claims or reimbursements. Claims for damaged or missing items in transit must be received within two business days of receipt of your order.

Signature Confirmation

All orders valued over $250 will require a signature for delivery. For items valued under $250, please contact us before purchasing if you have any concerns regarding the safety of shipments being left outside your address. You can always request “No Signature Required” if desired on your order, however in doing so you assume 100% responsibility for any lost or stolen packages as we will have no course of action if an item is lost or stolen after it is delivered by the driver.

International Orders

We typically use UPS Worldwide Expedited service or USPS Priority Mail International to ship these orders. UPS will typically be more expensive and will provide faster service as well as more updates while in transit. Most USPS Priority Mail shipments, regardless of the final destination, arrive within 1-3 weeks of shipment. However, in some cases, your order may get delayed in Customs for an extended period of time. Once the shipment has departed the U.S., the destination postal system assumes responsibility for the shipment. You will need to contact your local postal system for any updates once this occurs. We are not responsible for any delays caused by Customs processing in your country, and no refunds are given for shipping costs if the shipment arrives later than expected.

Please be aware that additional customs fees, taxes, or duties may apply and these fees are not included in the shipping cost and are the full responsibility of the buyer. We are unable to estimate what these fees may be to your destination and recommend you check your local regulations prior to purchasing to understand what, if any, additional charges you may incur from excise tax, value-added tax (VAT), import duties, and other fees. If you refuse to pay these fees, your local Customs office may opt to return the shipment to us or may require return shipping charges be paid in order for it to be returned. In this instance, you are responsible for the return shipping cost to us (if any), as well as the return shipping cost back to you if the item is shipped again.

There are no refunds or returns for international shipments unless an item was incorrectly described. In the event this occurs, please contact us immediately so we can work with you on how best to remedy the issue.
