For your supreme viewing pleasure is this one of a kind Slingerland Magnum drum set in original White Tiger Pearl wrap, custom built in 1985 for Slingerland endorser Brad Rohrssen of the band Holland (Atlantic Records). He is the one and only owner of this kit, and took great care of it. All drums are the 5-ply maple/poplar/maple shells with clear interior. When Brad went to the Slingerland factory in 1984 to spec this kit, he found what was the very last of Slingerland's white tiger wrap sitting on a shelf, which Slingerland had not offered as a finish option since the '70s. There was just enough left to finish Brad's set, making it an extra special one and quite an amazing rarity. The wrap is in outstanding condition with virtually no wear and tight flat seams. The bass drum hoops have minimal paint wear. All the original hardware shows beautifully with just a small spot of chrome loss on the 13" batter hoop and some light oxidation on the 16" resonant hoop. The black & silver Niles badges are all securely attached with sequential serial #s. The bass drum and 13" tom are both virgin drums, and the No. 1960 Magnum snare drum stand is included for the 13" rack tom. The original head is on permanent display at the IL Rock 'N' Roll Museum. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. The bearing edges are true and original and tune up well with modern heads. Most importantly, this kit sounds amazing, and is an absolute thunderous powerhouse to play. Enjoy!
