For your viewing pleasure is this hard to find Slingerland No. 134 5x14 Radio King Chrome Over Brass 8-Lug snare drum. It has the first black & brass Niles pre-serial # badge dating this to 1961-1962. This heavyweight beauty is in terrific overall condition with a few light surface scratches and some pinpoint pitting mostly on the lugs as shown. The original chrome over brass Rimshot (Stick Saver) hoops have aged well. The original three point strainer with original wires and No. 1080 tone control are fully functional. This snare would be at home in any great collection and would shine in the finest of recording studios. Enjoy!
