For your viewing pleasure is this historic and gorgeous Zildjian A 1st stamp 13" cymbal, dating from Avedis Zildjian's first era of U.S. cymbal manufacturing (1929-40). This cymbal exhibits master hand craftsmanship, with exquisite lathing and a gorgeous patina. It is very thin, and has a very quick and low crash. It is, without a doubt, one of the finest sounding cymbals of its size to enter our collection. Like many early Zildjian As, it is slightly undersized, and measures in at an actual 12&13/16". We have paired it with other 13" cymbals to make a set of hi-hats with great success. This cymbal exceeds as a top hat for any musical styles that benefit from the subtle nuances made possible with a smokey vintage cymbal of this weight and profile. It is in excellent condition with no cracks or keyhole. There is one micro-nick in the edge, but definitely nowhere near big enough to be considered a flea bite. Enjoy!
