For your listening and viewing pleasure is this wonderful vintage 12" Zildjian A splash cymbal dating from from the mid-1930s-mid-1940s. The fabulous splashes of this era were paper thin and favored by the greats such has Gene, Buddy, and Louie. This is possibly the thinest playing 12" we've ever had, and can be sent into full explosion with your finger. It's in excellent condition and sounds fabulous. It's so paper thing that you can clearly see all of the characters of the the stamp from the bottom side. It has a beautiful low splash for its size, and a musicality that can only be found in these paper-thin old A's. There's one miniscule nick on the edge that our finger nail can feel, too small to consider a flea bite, and almost not worth mentioning. It's slightly oversized at 12-3/16" which is among the largest size made during this era. There are no edge cracks, bends, or keyhole. Weighs in at 314 grams. Enjoy!
