For your prime viewing and listening delight is this stunning pair of vintage 14" Istanbul K Zildjian hi-hat cymbals from the 1960s. These New Stamp era hats are in excellent condition, and are among some of the best sounding vintage K hats we've encountered.
They have the beautiful old world lathing and hand hammering that showcase the skilled craftsmanship that Istanbul made Ks are renowned for. They're articulate with a buttery feel and smooth chick.
The bottom cymbal has one spot of edge roughness, and the hole shows a typical tiny micro fissure. The top cymbal has one flea bite, please see the pictures. Both holes have been widened to work with modern hi-hat stands. Otherwise, there are no cracks, bends, or keyholes. Top weighs in at 934 grams and the bottom weighs 980 grams making them ideal for jazz. Both cymbals possess gorgeous voices, and we had fabulous results switching them up with either on top to keep things fresh and inspiring. Enjoy!
