For your prime listening and viewing pleasure is this vintage 14" Paiste 2002 Sound Edge hi-hat cymbal pair. These black label 2002s were made in Switzerland in 1979 based on the consecutive serial numbers. They're in great condition with a patina on top and the original patent number ink stamp on the clean bottom. Sound Edge hi-hats were massively popular in the 1970s and were played by so many of the greats including Bonham. Take a listen to our demo video and you'll recognize the classic Paiste sound. The waved edge of the bottom cymbal gives extra clarity to the chick sound. They have nice stick definition, project without being too loud, and sound great recorded. No cracks, bends, flea bites, or keyhole. These weigh in at 950 grams on the top and 1030 grams on the bottom. Enjoy!
