For your premium viewing and listening pleasure is this exceptional vintage 14" Zildjian A Transition Stamp hi-hat cymbal pair made between 1946-53. These holy grail hats are in excellent condition and have a beautiful patina. They exhibit beautiful old world hammering and gorgeous lathing typical of American Zildjian's golden age of cymbal smithing. The stick definition is fabulous with the almost crash-like quality of the top cymbal providing an airy quality when open.

No cracks or key holes. As is par for the course with nearly all thin edged trans stamp cymbals from this era (which is a large part of their sound and appeal), there is some typical edge roughness, a few shallow incidental flea bites, and the bottom has some barely noticeable edge unevenness which is mainly due to the extent of the hammering towards the outside of the cymbal. They weigh in at 712 grams on top and 762 grams on bottom. They also sound gorgeous switched with the bottom on top to keep things fresh and inspirational. Really some of the finest sounding trans stamp hi-hats we've laid stick to. Enjoy!
