For your viewing pleasure is this excellent 14" K Zildjian Istanbul Old Stamp IIa cymbal from 1945-49. It is in excellent condition with two extremely tiny/shallow flea bites, and no bends or key hole. There is one very tiny typical hairline crack at the original small bell hole, and the cymbal sounds simply amazing. This was a cymbal imported expressly for Gretsch, and has the coveted "G" stamp near the edge on the bottom side. The old world hammering and exquisite lathing is a thing of beauty, and the original signature is even still present after 71+ years. It sounds magical as a top or bottom hi-hat, and has that wonderfully musical dry, smokey, mysterious old stamp sound these are famous for. It crashes great, and is low and fast. It measures a hair under 14" at 13 & 7/8" and has matched up famously with a number of different 14" hats we've tried it with. Enjoy!
