For your prime viewing and listening pleasure is this sweet pair of vintage 15" Paiste 2002 Sound Edge hi-hat cymbals. These black label 2002s were made in Switzerland in 1978 based on the consecutive serial numbers. They're in beautiful well cared for condition with the original ink stamps still present on top and the patent number ink stamp on the bottoms. Sound Edge hi-hats were massively popular in the 1970s and were played by so many of the greats, most famously Bonham), and these 15s are a great example of why. The waved edge of the bottom cymbal gives extra clarity to the chick sound. They have strong stick definition, project without being too loud, and sound great recorded. No cracks, bends, flea bites, or keyholes. These weigh in at 1168 grams on the top and 1272 grams on the bottom. Enjoy!
