For your extreme viewing and listening delight is this exquisite vintage 15" Zildjian A Trans Stamp hi-hat cymbal pair from the late '40s-early '50s. They're in superb condition and sound magical. Each has a beautiful musical tone on its own, and they make for an exemplary pair of heirloom quality hats from Zildjian's golden era of cymbal smithing.
Smooth and articulate, with a great wash and full chick. No cracks, and near perfect holes. As is the case with nearly all thin Trans Stamp cymbals, both have a small amount of edge roughness, and some slight edge un-eveness, which is par for the course for stellar sounding light Trans Stamp hats that have been played (see last 2 pics). When no pressure is applied, you can see the smallest gap between the cymbals, in the next pic, there is a light pressure applied which makes the gap completely disappear, again - these are how nearly all truly great and thin trans stamp hats we've had are. They weigh in at 754 grams on top and 860 grams on bottom, both of which sound fabulous as a top hat to switch things around and keep things fresh. Enjoy!
