For your viewing pleasure we have a fantastic sounding trans stamp cymbal from the late 1940s-early '50s. The stamp was struck extremely lightly, and is very hard to see, but after 20+ years of handling thousands of cymbals, we determined with near certainty that this is indeed a trans stamp cymbal as can be seen by the lathing, profile, chatter marks, bell, edges, weight, and profile of the Arabic "W" visible in the stamp.  For those that appreciate the ear pleasing sound of a fine thin cymbal made during the Avedis golden era, this would be a fantastic top hi-hat cymbal for jazz, and also sounds amazing as a crash / splash. As is typical of this age and thinness, it has a few minuscule flea bites and small edge bends, but we have paired it with a bottom hat and also played it as a splash with phenomenal results. There are no cracks and no keyhole. Enjoy!
