For your prime viewing and listening pleasure is this vintage 16" Zildjian A Trans Stamp hi-hat cymbal pair from the early 50s. These thin, lightweight hand hammered hats are where it's at, possibly the best sounding and playing 16" A hats that have ever been in the Drugan Family Cymbal Vault and now they can be yours. Each has a beautifully musical tone on its own and together they make an exemplary pair from Zildjian's golden era. The bottom measure almost exactly 16" and the top is 16-1/8" giving them a sweet chick sound. They have an articulate stick definition and a gorgeous wash. They are in excellent condition and have miraculously survived the past 80 years with no cracks, bends, and near perfect holes with only two very tiny flea bites on the top cymbal and one on the bottom as shown. They weigh in at a 1000 grams on top and 1084 grams on bottom and honestly sound fantastic with either cymbal on top. Enjoy!
