For your prime listening and viewing pleasure is this supremely rare vintage 16" Zildjian A Trans Stamp hi-hat cymbal pair from 1946-53. These medium-thin, hand hammered hats are where it's at. Each has a beautifully musical tone on its own and together they make an exemplary pair of hats from Zildjian's golden era of american cymbal smithing.
They both measure just over 16-1/16", and have a sweet chick sound and no air-lock. They have an articulate stick definition and a gorgeous wash. They are in excellent condition and have miraculously survived the past 80 years with no cracks, bends, and near perfect holes. They weigh in at a 1124 grams on top and 1144 grams on bottom and honestly sound fantastic and with either cymbal on top for two unique sounds. Enjoy!
