16" Zildjian A 1947-53 Trans Stamp Crash or Hi-Hat Cymbal 1014g #630
16" Zildjian A 1947-53 Trans Stamp Crash or Hi-Hat Cymbal 1014g #630
Condition: Vintage
For your viewing pleasure is this excellent 16" Zildjian A trans stamp cymbal dating from the 1947-53 period. There is a reason these trans stamps are sought after by players, recording studios, and collectors alike. They sound beautiful and are extremely musical. This cymbal is no exception. It sounds fantastic when crashed, and also works incredibly as a top or bottom hi-hat. Since it measures exactly 16" on the nose, it will be easy to match it up with another cymbal of your choosing if you want to use as a hi-hat. It's in overall excellent condition with no cracks or keyhole. Due to the fact that these cymbals were hammered, the edges are not perfectly even like on a more modern Zildjian A, this is how they were made and part of why they sound the way they do. The sound clip video is with this cymbal used as a top hi-hat cymbal, and is then also used as a crash. Enjoy!
