18" Zilco by Zildjian 1940s-50s Crash Ride Cymbal w/ Rivets 1240g
Condition: Vintage
For your kind consideration is this vintage 18" Zilco crash ride cymbal. Zilco was the branding for the seconds from the Avedis Zildjian USA factory, usually only because of a slight lathing imperfection. Regardless of the Zilco name these cymbals have that same great sound of the vintage Zildjian A cymbals that you love. This one in very good condition overall and has 7 rivets installed. It's thin and lightweight, weighing in at just 1240 grams with the rivets. It exhibits some of the dark, dry tonal characteristics of much more costly Zildjian A cymbals of the 1940s. As is commonplace on cymbals of this age and thinness, there are approximately 2 small flea bites, a slight waviness to the edge in a few areas, and two small fissures radiating from the hole as show which do not affect the sound or integrity of this cymbal in any way. Enjoy!
