For your kind consideration this 18" Zilco by Zildjian crash cymbal. It displays textbook golden era hammering and lathing identical to Trans Stamp cymbals of the same era. After handling thousands of cymbals over the past 20 years, we can say with certainty that this is a Zildjian made Zilco from the 40s exhibiting all of the qualities of a 2nd Stamp/Trans Stamp cymbal. It's incredibly thin and lightweight, weighing in at an extremely svelte 1098g. It exhibits some of the dark, dry tonal characteristics of much more costly Zildjian A and K cymbals of the 1940s. As is commonplace on cymbals of this age and thinness, there are approximately 3 small flea bites and a slight waviness to the edge in a few areas which does not affect the sound, integrity, or beauty of this cymbal in any way. For anyone that is a vintage cymbal enthusiast, it's easy to see and hear that this is an absolute maximum bang for your buck cymbal. Enjoy!
