For your viewing pleasure is this rare 18" Zildjian A cymbal from the early-mid 1940s. This is one of the largest 2nd Stamp models we have seen as Zildjian only cataloged sizes up to 16" until the 1948 Ludwig catalog. These cymbals are perfect for any style of music, and were favored by artists like Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, and Louie Bellson. This cymbal exudes a wonderful sound that you can only get with the craftsmanship of the golden era of American cymbal making. This one has been well loved in its long life. There is some edge roughness and the keyhole had a solder repair done that has since removed. It was a full, warm crash sound and a dry stick that make this versatile enough to be a crash or ride.
