This heirloom quality instrument has been handcrafted by legendary cymbal smith Paul Francis, and is essentially a more hands on artisan version of the very best K Cons or Artisan series, with the patina process used on the no longer produced and sought after Keropes once offered by Zildjian. The current line of re-launched Keropes offered by Zildjian no longer has the factory patina. This bespoke instrument has been handcrafted by legendary cymbal smith Paul Francis. Paul has worked with the world’s greatest drummers to create many of the modern cymbal sounds you hear in live music and on countless recordings. This one is bright, silvery, and musical. The Cymbal Craftsman series is the flagship line. This line would be similar to K Cons or the Artisan series. Great for Jazz and can be used for Pop and Rock as well. The models are called crash ride and they ride and crash equally well. While I was apprenticing under Armand Zildjian he taught me that every cymbal is a crash and every cymbal is a ride.
*All new cymbals come with the manufacturer’s warranty and are on display in our showroom. Cymbals may have some fingerprints or light stick marks from being played in the video demo or being occasionally demoed in store.
