Rather than a standard single-point throw-off, the Super-Sensitive is built around a multi-strand, individually-tensioned snare wire system, giving players fine, direct control over snare response and sensitivity unlike anything else Ludwig offered. This example features a 1-piece brass shell finished in nickel, a hallmark look of this early era of Ludwig production, and shows a few small dents in the shell. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. Most importantly, it tunes up like a champ and sounds absolutely fantastic. Enjoy!
