For your viewing pleasure is this rarely seen vintage Slingerland SP-33B Gene Krupa Special Cymbal Floor Stand. This nickel Radio King era stand is from late 1940s to 1950, before they switched the leg design in 1951. Having a cymbal stand on the floor was a massive innovation as people moved away from trap kits in the late 1930s. This model was originally designed by Slingerland for Gene Krupa and was marketed for "the drummer who wants cymbals close up to his snare for fast licks". This one has the optional nickel No. 1066 Cymbal Tilter added making it much more usable for today's drummer.
