For your extreme viewing pleasure is this rare and beautiful 1948-52 WFL 5.5x13 Classic Porto Pak snare drum in beautiful white marine pearl. This size / model is not commonly seen, especially from this particular era. Aside from the modern Remo Heads, this drum is completely original including the rods, washers, and wires. The wrap has held up nicely, there is a small .5" line in the surface that goes with the grain of the pearl pattern to the right of the badge, making it quite difficult to notice. It does not go through the wrap and is barley worth mentioning. The original P-87 Classic strainer is a perfect specimen that operates smoothly. The chrome plating looks amazing, and the chrome over brass hoops are gorgeous. There are no extra holes or modifications, and the edges are original and true. This drum tunes up easily and sounds incredible. Enjoy!
