For your supreme viewing pleasure is this fabulous vintage Gretsch Bop Outfit in Midnight Blue Pearl. The combination of 3-ply shells, Gladstone floor tom legs, and silver sealer interiors without paper tags dates this set in the 1954-57 time period. They are in overall great condition and are all original aside from the heads. All bearing edges are original and true. The chrome on the lugs and original hoops is nice with light signs of age and wear. The tom has a few marks on the wrap as shown, and the floor tom has a cigarette burn and a scuff near the bottom of the wrap as shown. There is one extra hole in the bass drum that is covered by the cymbal arm mount. There are no other extra holes or modifications. The Gladstone style floor tom leg brackets tighten securely. Most importantly this set tunes up supremely well, exuding "That Great Gretsch Sound!" This set would be right at home amongst the finest of collections, studios, and stages. Enjoy!
