For your kind consideration is this vintage Kent 191P 5x14 single tension snare drum from the 1950s. It's all original and in good condition for its age. One of the bottom hoop clips has cracked, but it is still functional. Please see photos. Although it is called a 5" snare in the Kent catalog, it actually measures closer to 4.5" in depth.

These snares are constructed of two-plys of maple, providing a very thin and resonant shell. They feature "L" flanged metal hoops as noted in the Kent catalog and a Rapid-Action throw off with Snappy Snares. The original Kent stamped Weather King head still has life in it though it is sitting on the hoop a little crooked. If you're looking for some 6-lug vintage goodness to add to your collection, this snare will bring the vibes. Enjoy!
