Condition: Vintage
For your kind consideration is this vintage Kent 191P 5x14 single tension snare drum from the 1950s. It's in very good condition. These snares are constructed with just two-plys of maple, providing a very thin and resonant shell. They feature "L" flanged metal hoops which are have aged well with lots of vibe. The original rods and clips are in very good condition with some patina but no cracks as is often seen in these single tension models. The original Rapid-Action throw off has been replaced with a modern Taye that matched the existing holes and is actually much more functional. One of the center supports is missing the metal ring around it and the badge has been removed. It has no extra holes or additional modifications. If you're looking for some 6-lug vintage goodness to add to your collection, this snare will bring the vibes at a killer price. Enjoy!
