For your viewing pleasure is this vintage Slingerland 14x22 Radio King bass drum in White Marine Pearl from the mid '50s. It's built with Slingerland's legendary 3-ply mahogany interior shell. The original nickel streamlined lugs, double grip claws, and tympani handle tension rods are all in very good condition with a nice patina and normal signs of age. This would have originally used clip-on spurs but a previous owner installed spur mounts, as shown, to use straight spurs. It's sporting the 1953-5 stamped brass Chicago Dog Tag badge. It tunes up well and produces the amazing sonic signature that can only be realized with a vintage Slingerland bass drum that has seasoned for well over 65 years. Enjoy!
