For your supreme viewing pleasure is this vintage WFL 3x13 Buddy Rich Be-Bop snare drum in White Marine Pearl. This model first appeared in the 1949 WFL catalog and the Aluminum WFL Keystone badge dates this between 1949 to 1955. It's in fantastic condition and still retains the original wires which look and sound great with just one missing strand. The original chrome over brass hoops look great with some light signs of wear here and there and the wrap is in overall clean condition. The unique flip down strainer functions smoothly as does the adjustable butt plate. There are no extra holes or modifications. Most importantly, this fine instrument tunes up with the greatest of ease and sounds simply amazing with all the crispness Buddy Rich was searching for in this "compacto" snare. This drum would equally be at home amongst the finest of collections, studios, or stages. Enjoy!
