For your viewing pleasure is this lovely vintage Slingerland 5.5x14 Super Gene Krupa Radio King snare drum. The unique, short lived dog tag style badge dates this drum to the mid 1950s. The stunning and rare Sparkling Green Pearl glass glitter wrap has aged wonderfully while retaining its color. This beauty is all original down to the brass Rim Shot hoops, muffler, lugs, tension rods, clamshell Super strainer, and wires. It has a 3-ply shell, which is rare for this era. There are two small holes in the wrap on either side of the butt plate that do not go through the shell. There are no extra holes or modifications and the shell is in-round. Most importantly, this drum tunes up like a champ and sounds amazing. Enjoy!
