For your kind consideration is this vintage Camco 5x14 No. 701 Super snare drum. This has an early 1960s pre-USA Oaklawn badge and this model is the precursor to the No. 99 Super that came out in the mid-60s. It is in overall great condition with a few modifications to the smooth brass shell. The parallel coffin strainer was swapped for a Ludwig P-85 and Ludwig butt plate which required a couple extra holes to be drilled and the muffler and key holder were removed. The hoops and tension rods are also not original. Most importantly though, this drum tunes up wonderfully and sounds glorious. If you've been looking for a chrome over brass Camco snare that won't break the bank, this is the perfect player's option to add to your snare collection. Enjoy!
