For your viewing pleasureis this vintage Camco set from the early 1960s in an absolutely gorgeous Black Diamond Pearl. This first era Camco set was made with the coveted 4 ply Jasper shells. This early set came from Milwaukee where a shop was ordering the shells from Camco and installing Slingerland style hardware. There are other sets from the area in existence with this build. There has never been anything else installed on these drums since day one other than what you see, no extra holes or modifications. These lugs are much lighter and lower mass than the heavy Camco Aristocrat lugs, which allows for optimum resonance from these magical thin 4 ply Jasper shells. The non-Camco spurs originally installed were removed, and hoop mounted spurs seen in the pics are currently used. The early first version non-USA Camco cloud badges look great and are tight on all of the drums. This is a phenomenal sounding drum set if you're looking for a great original Camco set at a much more attractive price point. Enjoy!
