For your kind consideration is this vintage 1960s Gretsch 5.5x14 No. 4157 Name Band snare drum in Gold Sparkle wrap. The original Micro-Sensitive throw-off and snap-in key holder are missing. The 5381 adjustable snare bracket is still in place and functional as is the original Pratt muffler. The badge is tight and looks great with a beautiful patina. The interior is in excellent condition with original silver sealer paint and paper tag. All of the chrome is in good condition with light wear. The bearing edges are true and original. As shown in the photos, the wrap has a splits near the badge and near the key holder and the seam is lifting though stable. This could be a good candidate for a rewrap or for a player that doesn't mind some age to their drum. These '60s round badges are a joy to own and play and with the addition of a new Micro-Sensitive strainer and some wires, you'll be enjoying this one in no time. Enjoy!
