For your supreme viewing pleasure is this absolutely stunning 1960's Gretsch round badge drum set in original Tangerine Sparkle. As one might expect, these drums tune up wonderfully and sound sublime. The wrap is vibrant and looks gorgeous. The original hardware is clean and brilliant. It wears it's original front logo bass drum head proudly, as well as original spurs and rail mount. The bearing edges are all true and original, and there are no extra holes or modifications. The snare drum still has the original Microsensitive Strainer, which operates smoothly. All of the tone controls (top and bottom) are nice and fully functional, as is the original Jimmy Pratt bass drum muffler. Tangerine Sparkle is among the very thickest wraps Gretsch used, so like on all of these, modern heads fit snug. There are some commonly seen seam lifts on the 12 and 20. These drums look and sound like a dream! 1960s Gretsch sets without extra holes or mods do not come up very often, especially in juicy Tangerine Sparkle, so seize the moment! Enjoy!
