For your viewing pleasure is this vintage National Model 22 combo amplifier made by Valco in the 1960s. This all tube 1x12 combo is in great condition with light play wear and normal aging. There are no major scratches or rips in the Tolex and the copper grill cloth has no tears or holes. This is a great sounding amp delivering 5 robust watts through its original 1967 Jensen C12-R speaker with a sweet, natural breakup as you starting dialing the volume past 5. The high inputs have a beautiful chimey sound while the low input is more full sounding. The bass and treble controls both function smoothly. It features both tremolo and reverb which are fully functional. The tremolo only has a speed control so once it's on, its happening and it sounds great. The reverb is gorgeous with the intensity ranging from subtle fullness to trippy weirdness. The amp was recently serviced by Outlier Audio in Chicago and had a few capacitors replaced and it has a clean bill of health. We also replaced the original RCA 6V6 power tube with a period correct RCA 6V6 that reads as new on our recently calibrated Hickok tube tester and will have many years of life in it.
