1960s Rogers Holiday Cleveland Swingtime 20/12/16 3ply Blue Onyx

For your viewing pleasure is this excellent 1960s Rogers Holiday Swingtime drum set made during a brief time right after their switch from bread and butter lugs to beaver tail lugs when they were using thin 3 ply Keller shells before they switched to 5 ply Keller. These thin 3 ply shells are magic and considered to be the most resonant and musical sounding shells in Rogers history. This set is in great condition displaying mild signs of use including some light scuffs and surface marks. There are no extra holes or modifications, and the edges are true and original. Overall they present majestically and are as much of a joy to play as they are to gaze upon. All three drums have the original early '60s Rogers heads on the batter side and they sound incredible. The original blue onyx wrap is vibrant and deep and really exudes Rogers coolness and prestige. This set tunes up with the very greatest of ease and is easily one of the best sounding '60s Rogers sets we've ever played (and we've had many). Enjoy!
