For your viewing pleasure is this rare 1960's Slingerland green satin flame pearl 14x14 floor tom. Aside from the heads, it is completely original including the tension rods and fully functional muffler. The satin flame wrap has the usual checking/spidering associated with satin flame wraps, but nothing out of the ordinary. The black and brass badge with serial # 139XXX along with the chocolate milk interior dates this drum in the 1966-68 range (there is no internal date stamp). The original chrome over brass hoops look good, the bottom hoop has a small bend in the top lip which is cosmetic in nature, and does not affect the roundness or tuning. The lugs look good with some light pitting here and there. The leg brackets have nice chrome. There are no extra holes or modifications, and the bearing edges are true and original. Most importantly, it tunes up easily and sounds beautiful! Enjoy!
