For your viewing pleasure is this nice Slingerland 16x16 floor tom built with Slingerland's legendary 3 ply maple interior shell, and wrapped in their iconic Capri Pearl. The opal flakes used in the wrap are iridescent and give off hints of pink, purple and green. This drum dates to OCT 22 1965. The push button floor tom brackets are nice and function properly. There are some splits in the wrap, and in one of the split areas there is some glue residue where the original owner tried to glue it down. The splits are not as noticeable as they could be due to how busy the pattern of the capri pearl is. It tunes up wonderfully and sounds amazing. Enjoy!
